We are looking for a Strategic Sales Manager to join the Global Merchant & Network Services team.

You will work with local teams and colleagues in Stockholm, as well as many international teams.


The role includes developing new merchant relationships from a defined prospect list of strategic accounts and also focusing on increasing our spend coverage in new and existing industry sectors in the physical and online space.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a rigorous pipeline and develop detailed prospect files and strategies
  • Build relationships with prospects and develop thorough understanding of issues and opportunities in order to develop partnership propositions
  • Develop and present high impact proposals to prospects including financial analysis, marketing plans, and technology solutions
  • Co-ordinate with and drive internal and prospect legal, finance, marketing, systems and operations teams to reach timely agreements and implementation
  • Drive thought leadership in developing and executing strategies across all acquisition channels
  • Work closely with other areas of the business (Consumer & Corporate card, legal, compliance, finance, operations, Risk etc) to help achieve organizational goals
  • Deliver significant new booked business volumes in line with company New Booked DBV targets
  • Drive activation of all merchant locations signed, in line with company activation targets.

Minimum Qualifications

We would like to attract a candidate with a “will to win” and with a passion for sales. Someone who works effectively, is driven, innovative and a great communicator


We'd love to hear from you if you can tick off any or all of the qualifications below:

  • At least 5+ years of sales experience, with experience in a KAM role in a hectic sales environment
  • Experience in selling solution-based products and services within payment and financial industry
  • Ability to keep many activities with short deadlines and varying complexities going at the same time
  • Disciplined to follow internal compliance and regulations
  • Ambitious, international thinking, focused, and thriving in a hectic and change-oriented environment
  • Outgoing and easily create relationships with people, have self-confidence in meeting with customer leaders
  • Good Swedish and English knowledge, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite
  • Any other Nordic language is a merit
