American Express Travel Related Services seeks Directors, Product Management to develop product strategy and vision based on customer and business needs. Partner with cross-functional teams to convert product vision into a well-managed product roadmap. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product scope, manage priorities, and monitor product development, execution, launch, and post-launch optimization. Analyze and monitor creation of detailed documentation of user needs, including user journey, functional requirements, and technical solution for product features. Drive projects by outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying issues and risks. Analyze product usage and trends, and compare analyses against market trends.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with digital product development and business analysis in an enterprise setting. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with developing, defining, testing, and implementing new technical features within a matrixed environment; 5 years of experience with developing user stories, linking business requirements, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT); 5 years of experience working with web and mobile architecture and APIs; 5 years of experience with end-to-end IT program management; 5 years of experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product launching capabilities in Agile and Scrum environments; and 5 years of experience with CSS, Excel macros, HTML, JSON, JS, JQuery, MS Access, REST, and SQL in a product development capacity.
