American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leader in supporting small business owners and larger companies with products and services to help them run and grow their businesses. The Cross-Border Payments marketing team sits within the GCS Global Marketing organization and focuses on acquisition, retention and digital marketing, from strategy to execution to capabilities, to better meet our business customers’ needs.

This position is based in Singapore and will support the Singapore Cross-Border Payments business. This is a dynamic marketing role that can provide exposure to a large variety of marketing projects, opportunities for strategic ownership & experience leading important initiatives.


  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns, from set-up to measurement, focusing on lead generation and retention from digital and non-digital channels.

  • Partner with cross-functional and cross-LoB teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives to enhance acquisition and retention, including capabilities, processes and cross-sell.

  • Leverage data and insights to discover innovative methods of enhancing our marketing strategies, campaigns and customer communication/content.

  • Analyze project and campaign results to identify key drivers & metrics of success

  • Own operational aspects of campaign execution, maintain records and track all projects to completion

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role

  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate and then translate insights into action

  • Experienced in working with external agencies and partners

  • Comfortable leading projects in a complex, multi-geographic matrixed environment

  • Able to coordinate and partner with numerous internal stakeholders to drive initiatives

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory. Salesforce experience highly desirable. 

  • Detail oriented, with strong project management and organizational skills.
