American Express Travel Related Services seeks Directors, UX Design to drive user experience and customer connectedness through the delivery of a global digital platform. Drive vision and strategy for core design components to be utilized by design teams across the enterprise for cohesive digital customer experiences. Optimize design of UI/UX for key enterprise digital capabilities. Collaborate with User Experience Research team to provide data-driven solutions. Establish best practices that embed user-centered design into product development to ensure adoption of a digital platform that adheres to brand consistency and standards.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in design utilizing web and native app technologies. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience transforming legacy workflows by leveraging Agile and lean methodologies, and integrating design into product workflows; 2 years of experience with leading the creative side of various digital transformation projects; 2 years of experience creating UI/UX designs for various software products that incorporate technical specifications to develop an optimal UI/UX experience; 2 years of experience with Conducting ethnographic research, including user interviews, surveys, and contextual observations; 2 years of experience with CSS, HTML, jQuery and NodeJS; 2 years of experience running A/B testing to validate new product designs; and 2 years of experience with designing and building interactive prototypes using Adobe Creative Suite and Setch.
