What type of work can you expect to do as a Software Engineer at American Express?
• Design and develop software applications
• Write code and unit tests, work on API specs and automation, and conduct code reviews and testing
• Identify opportunities to solve existing needs and predict future challenges
• Perform ongoing refactoring of code to fast-track concepts and deliver continuous improvement
• Prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues
• Design and develop new customer-facing applications on multiple channels like native iOS, Android, web, social integration and Java services/APIs
