Job Description

The Global Account Specialist will be a key consultant to the Global Commercial Service (GCS) Large Market team.  The purpose of this position is to provide guidance, direction and assistance to our US LM AD Team.  The Global Specialist will facilitate communication to grow satisfaction and charge volume in our global programs for our US clients.  Increased client satisfaction will lead to increase account retention and US Charge Volume.
Day-to-Day communication can encompass communications with Global Account Consultancy Teams from all regions, US Large Market Account Managers and their Client Manager Specialists.  Interaction will also include internal contacts from outside the US who can provide guidance to US LM in implementation and problem-solving processes.  This role will have dotted line to our Implementation Team with which the Specialist will work to support the role of consultant to the Large Market AD team.  The Global Specialist will facilitate smooth implementation and support day-to-day program management of our external clients by offering contacts, solutions, process steps to our AD Managers/Client Manager Specialists.   
The Global Account Specialist will work cases from GCS on the phone or e-mail and the specialist will be expected to utilize strong Relationship Care skills and corporate expertise. For issues outside their scope of work, the specialist will assess what resource should be engaged to solve them.
This specialist will be expected to relish a challenge, display problem-solving abilities and enjoy the prospect of facing new types of inquiries every day. Successful applicants will have a positive attitude, analytical skills, strong sense of ownership, and possess the ability to communicate solutions to partners effectively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing market-specific programs’ set-up requirements, collateral and contacts
  • Advising on appropriate steps to facilitate credit lines and resources to help solve escalations and disruptions  
  • Assisting with Program Administration, @Work Global Access
  • An understanding of client data file management and reporting needs
  • Establish a Network to direct global follow-ups around data file issues, payments and mis-postings
  • Consulting on continually evolving market requirements, including identifying core themes to help mitigate/solve/educate
Candidate will need to reside in the Phoenix area.  Although the posting is listed as virtual they will need to go to the office periodically to interact with their peers and partners.


  • Corporate product expertise is essential
  • Knowledge of key systems from a functional standpoint such as CLIC/IMSW/@ Work/ CAS etc., as expected
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office packages
  • Talent for effectively interfacing at all levels within an organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and foster positive business relationships
  • Proven negotiation, detailed follow-up and problem-solving skills with internal and external clients
  • Ability to analyze and consult directly with mostly internal account managers and their client specialists, account consultancy teams in all regions
  • Strong time management with flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple tasks within stringent time frames while maintaining accuracy
  • Proven ability to work well within a team servicing environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision
  • Any additional language skills is a plus.
