Job Description

This position will support Vice President(s) within the Network Engineering & Optimization (NEO) organization within GSN, as well as partner with the broader NEO team and other Global Strategy & Support (GSS) organizations within the Phoenix servicing center. 
  • Demonstrated effective calendar management and meeting coordination with business partners (internal and external)
  • Scheduling and Support of in-office Team Meetings
  • Arrangements of travel, meetings (internal and external), accommodations and other logistics
  • Manage team purchase approval processes
  • Prepare and reconcile Corporate Card expenses in timely manner
  • Support employee activities within department and across local center
  • Manage team roster and org charts
  • Managing budget costs and accruals as required
  • Managing service requests and office supplies database desktop resources
  • Successful on boarding or off boarding Amex employees
  • Supply ordering in Ariba Buyer and weekly attendance tracking for accurate timekeeping of payroll

  • 2+ years Executive Assistance experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point 
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a team player
  • Manage multiple priorities within established timeframes and demonstrates flexibility
  • Maintain proficiency in tools at Amex as they are updated or changed
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills: ability to interact with all teams, including leadership, internally and externally, in the US and internationally
  • Strong follow-up skills are required with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency when under pressure
  • High integrity with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
