Sr. Analyst - Partnership Marketing and Product Development
Global Network Partnerships (GNP) North America is a division within GMNS that partners with a select group of banks that issue credit cards on the American Express network to: grow billings and market share for the American Express franchise, increase transaction volume through our merchant network and create a compelling range of customer card propositions.
This role is on the GNP Marketing team, which is responsible for driving Card Member engagement across the customer lifecycle with our bank partners’ customers.  This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a fast-paced, dynamic group and apply a range of skills in digital and lifecycle marketing, product development and relationship management.  
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver strategic recommendations on Card product value propositions, Card Member acquisition and loyalty, digital strategy and benefit marketing plans
  • Develop and execute strategies to support new GNP product and service launches
  • Manage online benefits hub for bank partners to help drive Card Member engagement with American Express benefits and services
  • Work with external agencies to develop digital assets and marketing communications that bring American Express capabilities to life in innovative ways
  • Partner with Business Development teams to develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to sell in strategies for driving long-term customer engagement
  • Assist with project engagements to bring  American Express core assets and capabilities to select bank partners 
  • Monitor external market place to identify competitive trends and digital best practices
  • Compile strategic and execution best practices from internal and external sources
  • Work with numerous internal and external partners – key cross-functional partners include Business Development, Enterprise Digital, Brand, Global Benefits and Services, and Compliance
  • Ensure best in class service delivery of capabilities and benefits
  • Manage marketing team budget


  • Strong interest in marketing, specifically digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage multiple relationships and projects
  • Creative problem solver with flexibility to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and multiple demands
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • External partnership management experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong product and project management expertise
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Collaborative team player, both internally and externally
