Overview of Organization
The Consumer Products & Services Customer Marketing team is responsible for expanding and deepening relationships with existing customers and maximizing profitability for American Express through relevant marketing product offerings and services across multiple channels. This Sr. Sr. Analyst/Analyst/ Sr. Analyst/Analyst will be part of the team responsible for developing, coordinating and executing the attrition reduction strategy in the Retention (Telephone) channel. This is an exciting opportunity for an Sr. Analyst/Analyst who will support transformation across the channel as we become an attrition prevention unit. This role will primarily focus on supporting offer language and offer targeting.  This role provides significant channel management responsibilities for an Sr. Analyst/Analyst and a unique opportunity to drive strong business results and thought leadership.  An ideal candidate will be interested in a balance of core marketing functions and partner relationship management, with excitement to join a growing team.
Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Primary responsibility support Sr. Marketing Manager on channel strategy and tactics
  • Primary channel owner for offer language and targeting
  • Reporting and forecasting lead
  • Marketing SME for system process & builds
  • Technical lead for SAC projects
  • Contributing owner for flawless execution of marketing campaigns in the channel
  • Contributing owner of monitoring performance of marketing campaigns through call-monitoring and analytics
  • Look for opportunities to foster collaboration with other customer channels to optimize customer experience and share best practices
  • Support the management of the day-to-day relationships and processes with key cross-functional partners such as: Customer Marketing Capabilities, Risk, Performance Analytics, Marketing Capabilities and Operations, Finance, Product Owners, Global Servicing Network Operating Centers and Marketing Partners

  • Ability to building and leverage strong relationships to influence partners and frontline CCPs

  • Ability to multitask and operate effectively under changing conditions
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
