Key Responsibilities: • Assist team leaders, senior audit personnel in accomplishing audit objectives in a team environment • Participate as key team member on audit projects • Understand, identify, evaluate and document key risks and controls • Document processes under review • Demonstrates solid knowledge of audit processes and proper application of sampling techniques • Work with managers /team leaders to develop audit test steps and assume responsibility for key process areas of moderate complexity • Execute audit tests competently in accordance with policies and procedures and with limited to moderate supervision • Participate in and document business monitoring activities and production of business performance and risk metrics • Actively engage in the monitoring, validation, and documentation of findings and related corrective action plans • Ability to summarize and communicate results in English and Spanish • Develop recommendations to close identified control gaps • Proficient use of automated work papers and other department and company tools • Maintain internal audit competency through ongoing professional development

• Three to five years of experience in the banking industry or financial services in the fields of internal or external audit, public accounting, finance, and/or credit management. • BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, AML or equivalent) and quantitative analysis preferred • Knowledge and experience in application of control theory and professional auditing practices • Ability to think analytically, communicate complex issues, and develop control recommendations • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to present control analysis and recommendations with clarity and professionalism • Demonstrated track record of integrity, effective communication, innovation, and excellence • Experience working in teams and show a positive attitude • Speak and write well in English • Strong technical accounting and auditing skills • Ability to travel including to the US (about 5%)
