Job Description

This role will play a critical leadership position within the Line of Business Compliance team supporting the US Consumer Business.  The position will provide strategic compliance support, direction and enable solutions to the business to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations for consumer products, features and processes. 
Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:
  • Provide compliance-related regulatory guidance and support on current/evolving business, product, & operational strategies for the following areas:
    • Proprietary Lending and Charge card portfolios
    • Pricing
    • Lending on Charge Capabilities
    • Lending Innovation
  • Partner with key compliance and business stakeholders across the company
  • Provide innovative thought process to assist the business in reaching their goals while meeting full Compliance requirements
  • Oversee all program responsibilities as defined under AEMP39
  • Advise leaders on areas of emerging risk and approaches to establish / enhance necessary controls and practices as appropriate


Minimum qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience leading high performing teams
  • Deep regulatory knowledge including Regulation Z, UDAAP, Open-End, and Closed-End loans
  • Strong relationship and leadership skills with proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in development and selection of compliance solutions
  • Excellent written, verbal, research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong track record of motivating and developing talent
  • Ability to drive results in changing and ambiguous situations
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and support multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt easily to frequent change
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel (10%)
Preferred qualifications:
  • Post graduate degree
  • Strong knowledge of Capabilities, Technical Processes and Controls
  • Experience in the development and oversight of a line of business Compliance program
