Job Description

The Global Field Enablement (GFE) team within the Global Commercial Solutions division of American Express is charged with driving field productivity for our 4,000 global Sales and Account Development colleagues through field training, communications, and effective go-to-market strategies. We’re seeking a strategic and passionate Sr. Analyst to drive exponential growth in our field productivity through the development and measurement of best-in-class learning and development programs.

Main responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute the global training measurement strategy to understand effectiveness of training programs, create insights, and influence future training design and investment
    • Responsible for the reporting needs for training initiatives including New Hire, Selling Skills, Sales Coaching, and B2B/Financial Mastery
    • Measure trainings at various levels including consumption, satisfaction, knowledge, application and business outcome
    • Draw insights from results and reports to influence future team strategy
    • Innovate the training measurement strategy based on results and feedback
  • Partner across the Global Field Enablement (GFE) and the Data Strategy & Insights (DS&I) teams to understand business objectives, segment/market needs, and measurement capabilities; Design innovative & appropriate measurement strategies for top initiatives
    • Understand local market/segment needs
    • Provide thought leadership around training measurement design
    • Build and deliver reporting & measurement solutions
    • Partner closely with DS&I to execute business impact measurement
  • Drive consistent, premium Field Enablement virtual & in-person event execution globally
    • Support FE leads with virtual & in-person training tools
    • Serve as main point of contact with Meeting & Events team, Experience Marketing teams, and key training vendor partners
    • Provide training communication templates to standardize training delivery

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a global strategic mindset
  • Competent in Excel, preferably experience working with pivot tables and vLookup
  • Event management and/or program management/development experience
  • Prefer NYC or Phoenix-based candidates
