Global Merchant and Network Services Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GM&NS Marketing is responsible for partnering with GM&NS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate coverage and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
In Global Merchant Interactive, we do this by providing the digital tools, insights and support to help Merchants of all sizes manage every aspect of their American Express relationship securely and efficiently in order to foster business growth and encourage warm and welcome acceptance.
Within Global Merchant Interactive, we are looking for an Analyst –Digital Content to help drive our platform vision globally. This is a great opportunity for someone to become part of an exciting and fast-paced team that is leading the adoption of user-centric design and shaping user experience/Agile/SAFe best practices at American Express.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end content management and new page/component creations within the Content Management Tool (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Partner closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders (as needed) on ideation and prototyping of new site pages and experiences
  • Collaborate with data/analytics specialists to ensure tagging and tracking of all new site pages and experiences
  • Manage and prioritize all Merchant Interactive requests through the Digital Engagement Portal
  • Support product managers to define user stories and implement plans for new marketing and compliance features and enhancements
  • Liaise with global stakeholders on partner initiatives, communications, and local compliance and approval processes
  • Actively participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of digital content experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fast learner with a passion for online and digital products
  • Strong project management skills; is detail-oriented and can manage multiple work streams
  • Team-oriented individual with superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success with partnering across cross functional teams to ensure successful implementation of content/project initiatives
  • Familiar with testing and quality assurance
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a “can do” attitude towards problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to travel (10%)
 
Preferred
 
  • Product Development/UX Experience
  • Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM) and tools (Rally, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience working in Sketch, InVision, Photoshop or similar Design tool
 
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
