Overview:
The role of Marketing Analyst/Senior Marketing Analyst - Benefits & Acquisition for Premium Charge Products will support the advancement of the premium product line strategy through the delivery of multi-year roadmaps to help us win in the competitive premium card landscape. 
 
This position provides an opportunity to work with colleagues across American Express to support the launch of new capabilities to provide new benefits and/or improve the customer experience.  The successful candidate will play a critical role in the delivery of best-in-class experiences for Premium Cardmembers across every interaction that we have with this highly valuable customer set, including acquisition, product websites and customer service.
 
The successful candidate will need to possess a customer-centric mindset, a passion for tackling challenging issues and an unwavering drive to succeed. This position is a rich and diverse role for anyone who wants to work very closely with key stakeholders across American Express, while supporting the flawless execution of strategic product initiatives and projects from inception to delivery
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to the advancement of the premium product line strategy, including delivery against multi-year roadmaps
  • Support the launch of capabilities to provide new benefits and/or improve the customer experience
  • Oversight for the ongoing maintenance, development and performance of product benefit websites
  • Collaborate with Acquisition teams to implement campaigns, analyze campaign effectiveness and provide strategy recommendations
  • Manage the onboarding processes including welcome collateral and early engagement strategy
  • Collaborate with servicing teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience including facilitating timely resolution of Cardmember escalations
  • Analyze business results to recommend and implement actions/solutions
  • Contribute to annual business review and marketing plan

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Marketing / Business / Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and business experience
  • Minimum 1-2 year experience in:
    • Selecting, reviewing, analyzing drivers and data sets related to financial performance of products/services
    • Progressive development in analyzing business opportunities, recommending and implementing actions
    • Development of business reviews and marketing/communication plans
  • Proven ability to take initiative and champion a project from conception through implementation to evaluation
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a demanding environment
  • Proven ability to lead change and set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with emphasis on proposal development and presentation to internal and external contacts, up to senior management levels
  • Proven analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Strong competitive/external focus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with website management is an asset
