This position, in the APAC Compensation & Benefits team, will take accountability for leading the compensation and benefits agenda for the Australia & New Zealand.
Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits APAC, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Compensation & Benefits for this portfolio of markets.
- Partnering with the country HR teams on strategies and initiatives that drive employee engagement
- Leading core compensation activities including oversight of incentive programs, market benchmarking
- Reviewing and revising Pay Ranges for ANZ; building awareness and education People Leaders on changes
- Leading the work Gender Pay including ongoing analytics, education and partnership with One HR and D&I teams
- Ownership of all benefit programs incorporating design, vendor management and ongoing assessment of effectiveness
- Providing in-country support to the employee relations teams on any C&B related local consultations
- Ensuring local programmes are compliant with local regulations and internal American Express standards.
- Providing compensation and benefits guidance and advice to business leaders and HR leaders to support the people agenda
- Providing in-country support to global C&B processes including the annual compensation review and bonus cycle, compliance of C&B programs
- Ownership of the Healthy Living programme for these markets
- Representing C&B in senior leader forums
- Assessing and mitigating against risks in the C&B agenda and remediating any identified areas of risk.
Qualifications
