  • Manage various test cycles from integration, acceptance, performance, regression to user acceptance testing and production environment evaluations prior to several production releases
  • Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers in designing and implementing quality processes and quality metrics for a number of our web sites
  • Liaison with business and product teams to ensure delivery is developed to requirements 
  • Driving quality deliverables through automation including tools, process, measurement, environment and data
  • Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
  • Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Regression, Stress and Performance Testing
  • Generates test data to support the requirements and test cases for various test phases
  • Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques


  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer focused on large scale websites
  • Good knowledge of Java & JEE, including Hibernate, Spring, Junit, Hamcest, mocking (JMock/Mokito), REST, Cucumber, Groovy, Headless browser testing such as PanthomJS or Chrome Headless
  • Testing automation tools/frameworks/patterns such as SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium WebDriver, page object, TestNG
  • Good knowledge in performance and stress testing
  • Experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, developing and running functional, automated and performance tests
  • Solid experience in test-driven development (TDD), behaviour-driven development (BDD), unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing
  • Knowledge of automated build / continuous integration platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins (Gradle, ANT, Hudson useful)
  • Experience of using the Atlassian product suite is preferable (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) or other Agile work item management tools (e.g. Rally)
  • Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skills
  • Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and opinions directly to wider team in team meetings via teleconference
