Job Description


The Global Card Issuance team manages service partners that provide card manufacturing, issuance and project support for all proprietary American Express cards globally. A key role within the Card Issuance team is New Product launches and this role will be responsible for driving end to end implementation of US product launches and Product Refreshes and will also own components of operational requirements for project implementation. This role has exposure to multiple groups internally and externally including marketing, brand, capabilities, operations, and key vendors.
 
Some key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Coordinating and driving alignment of cross-functional internal and external partners
  • Driving project initiatives forward across multiple groups and escalating potential delays when required
  • Ensuring operational requirements are implemented for product launch
 

Qualifications

 
  • BA / BS required, MBA a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Operations experience preferred
  • Track record of successful innovation and transformational thinking
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues and teams working in culturally and geographically diverse environments to deliver transformational outcomes
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), presentation skills
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal customers and external partners
  • Basic to advance skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic to advance skills in Presenting skills
