Job Description

The New Member Acquisition (NMA) organization is part of the Consumer Marketing Services Organization and is responsible for driving card member acquisition for the US Consumer Card business. 
 

The New Member Experiences & Capabilities (NMEC) team is responsible for enabling profitable and efficient acquisition by optimizing and marketing our application and onboarding offerings and experiences. The Analyst / Sr. Analyst will be an integral part of the NMEC team, supporting key projects across NMEC to optimize our Digital Application and Instant Card Number experiences. Core activities will include business case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and monthly analytics/reporting.  Other responsibilities will include managing acquisition anti-gaming controls by supporting Business Self Testing (BST), researching related inquiries and complaints, and tracking core metrics on an on-going basis. The Analyst / Sr. Analyst will also support certain NMA processes that are centrally managed by NMEC, such as the Forecasting/R&O process.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own AIC / Anti-gaming related CTC blocks, perform Business Self Testing and perform associated customer complaint investigations / resolution
  • Monitor and report on key acquisition conversion metrics (application conversion rates, instant approval rates, and pend rates) as well as anti-gaming metrics, and identify trends or potential improvement areas
  • Facilitate and support Forecasting / R&O processes across the NMA organization
  • Perform UAT for new application features and tests
  • Develop and source competitive intelligence and customer insights analysis to identify new opportunities and/or enhancements
  • Quantify and size the financial business impact of new initiatives for prioritization with EDA
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple partners (EDA, GCO, Compliance, Risk, GSN, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Analytical thinker who is comfortable using data to formulate and support theories and is able to synthesize data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with web analytics tools, and/or proven ability to learn new business tools
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships quickly and influence without authority
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Customer-first mindset, experience in customer issue resolution a plus
  • Digital product, UAT and/or marketing experience a plus
  • Excel proficiency
  • Strong work ethic and team player with an intense will-to-win
