Job Description

We are seeking a driven, strategic, and innovative communications professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Business Planning & Communications, supporting the Enterprise Platforms (EP) Executive Office and the EP team. You will report into the Director, Chief of Staff and work closely with the EP Leadership Team as well as core business partners and customers.

 

Enterprise Platforms is a newly formed CoE created to support strategic agility, speed to market, efficiency of delivery and transparency. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in developing and sustaining a high-performing culture in EP by creating content that inspires, empowers and connects our people. You will support the breakdown of silos between internal business units, helping to create “one EP”, and deliver overall employee satisfaction. You will also support internal communications and employee engagement programs to inform, inspire and educate our employees, business partners and customers about our EP vision.  

  • Support the Chief of Staff in delivering consistent, effective, creative and impactful employee engagement and internal communications content/programs
  • Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to Enterprise Platforms
  • Provide clarity in complex problems and facilitate decision-making
  • Support performance measurement and management, including via external benchmarking -- deliver world-class market and competitive intelligence
  • Lead and drive large parts of “special projects”: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and getting buy-in for change
  • Lead efforts on Competitive Intelligence including compiling reports, associated analysis and management reporting documents ready for publication and review by senior business leaders
  • Project and program management including tracking progress against milestones, compiling status update reviews and creating executive program level summaries
  • Work directly with the Platform teams to create additional communications materials including social media messages, presentations, and other promotional materials
  • Build relationships with business partners and colleagues including Global Accounts Receivable, Salesforce, Loyalty, Global Remittances and other subject matter experts to assess global internal communications needs and create content/programs that ultimately drive business results
  • Build awareness and visibility for the Enterprise Platforms CoE imperatives through the development of creative employee campaigns and initiatives
  • Support management and coordination of event logistics and providing on-site support for various town halls and other large-scale events, as well as internal memos to the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in communications

  • Solid content creation (writing / editing) and written / verbal communication skills – with track record of followership

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively about work and transform communications into engaging experiences using social tools, video and other media

  • Comfort working with all levels across the organization

  • Possess a growth mindset and proven ability to drive results

  • Ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues across the Enterprise and external partners

  • Strong Project Management skills with track record of managing multiple projects in a high pressure environment

  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and implement

  • Fluent user of social media and experience working with enterprise social networking tools

  • Experience with video editing a plus

  • Experience with Change Management a plus

  • Enthusiastic, fun, flexible and willing to learn
