Project Manager( Management Analyst)
Job Description
The Managing Analyst provides expert-level analysis and
insights into AMEX web technologies portfolio Human Resource tracking, status,
and projections. The Managing analyst will also provide management of
recruiting initiatives, resources, and vendors. This role will support the web
technologies organization, reporting into the Portfolio Manager(MYCA) and will
execute HR projects and programs across 4 key areas: Local Talent Planning;
Colleague Engagement; Colleague Development and Change Management. Incumbent is
also expected to collaborate with the Centers of Expertise (COEs) to drive a
consistent and positive employee experience with enterprise HR initiatives. This
role is also responsible for event coordination and budget tracking. To be
successful in this role, the candidate should be proactive, meet deadlines,
demonstrate attention to detail, be an MS Excel ninja and communicate
effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the design and drives flawless execution of market-wide colleague development and engagement forums for the Phoenix Market
- Drives and flawlessly executes project plans
- Demonstrates a keen focus on and concern for the overall colleague experience at the market level and supports related initiatives
- Analyzes reports containing large swaths of data; must be able to cut datasets into digestible outputs and extract trends and insights to inform recommendations
- Supports strategic external branding initiatives (workplace/employer awards), global and locally driven diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as internal branding at the market level; gathers external benchmark data to inform recommendations that meet objectives
- Assists with materials preparation for talent planning initiatives, including market talent reviews and talent shares; gathers data to inform recommendations that meet objectives
- Designs PowerPoint presentations to be presented to Business leaders; able to convey key themes into visually compelling presentations
- Identifies pain points in MHR processes, develops recommendations and implements solutions
- Provides local change management support for enterprise initiatives
- Tracks and manages organizational budget
- Has awareness and understanding of the local culture and how things work within the market, country or campus
- Manages organizational confluence site and design content for the site
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Master’s degree in a business or STEM discipline is a plus
- Advanced certifications are a plus (Scrum, Six Sigma, PMP)
- HTML & CSS skills is a plus
- Graphic design skills are a plus
- 2-4 years of related experience in an extremely fast-paced work environment preferred.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; must be able to navigate Excel formulas and pivot tables in Excel as well as expertly navigate PowerPoint tools to create visually meaningful presentations
- Self-starter (action-oriented) with strong critical thinking skills
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Collaborative; builds relationships and leverages them to drive outcomes
- Excellent communication skills; able to tailor messages to the audience, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with influencing and conflict-resolution skills
