Job Description

Part of a global communications team, this role is responsible for supporting employee and executive communications for the Global Services Group (GSG), which is comprised of 35,000+ colleagues and partners. Reporting to the Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications, the Manager works closely with colleagues across markets to create, plan and manage employee communications and engagement programs, conceive and manage ongoing editorial features for the GSG colleague intranet site, support executive communications for senior business leaders, including the group president, and provide guidance to business partners around a variety of strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development of news and feature content for the GSG intranet site and other global channels, such as digital signage screens
  • Write and develop communications such as video treatments and scripts, blogs, talking points, FAQs and organization announcements. Provide internal messaging for company-wide initiatives and issues, as well as those unique to the GSG
  • Develop impactful global strategies and communication approaches that help drive employee engagement and articulate change across a variety of channels
  • Partner with local communications managers to develop and roll out visual communications and branding across markets; manage external vendors as needed
  • Oversee logistics for global town halls and executive telepresence meetings
  • Manage GSG distribution lists and mailbox activity
  • Support GSG communication relationship leads, as needed, in communicating thoughtfully and effectively to various internal audiences, building a broad understanding of business goals and best practices
 
 
 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-6 years communications / public relations or related experience
  • Proven ability to craft and implement effective employee communications plans serving broad audiences; multinational experience a plus
  • Experience working across a variety of communication channels, including social media, web and video
  • Innovative thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative, self-motivated team player, with proven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across the company to support large-scale initiatives
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent judgment
  • Jive intranet software, Adobe Illustrator and MS PowerPoint expertise a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
