Within Global Corporate Services France this person will report to the Team Leader, Large Market Sales Team.


The incumbent will be responsible for selling the full suite of Amex Commercial Card services to key corporate prospects domiciled in France and listed in his/her portfolio. The incumbent will focus on delivering a tactical sales plan to drive results for Global Corporate Services France in alignment with the market strategy.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Building a winning portfolio strategy and effective associated sales action plan
  • Prospecting and lead sales cycle with multiple stakeholders for each prospect
  • Selling to a focused portfolio of large French companies
  • Cross selling with all other Business Units whenever needed/possible
  • Providing high-level service to our new customers
  • Networking with all involved influencers and partners in our ecosystem
  • Being responsible for achieving targeted metrics for Booked Charge Volume, Potential Charge Volume, and external prospecting activities
  • Liaising with all internal partners such as Risk, Operations, Pricing, Contracts teams, both locally and globally
  • Reporting activity and business plan in a most reliable and anticipated manner
  • Contributing to positive team mindset and Blue Box values

Required skills:

  • 5 years minimum successful business to business sales experience
  • Experience in managing long and complex sales cycles
  • Experience in selling T&E services or solutions a must
  • Successful sales track record in career to date
  • Self-starter with ability to identify, analyse and pursue opportunities when they appear
  • Ability to develop winning sales strategies and articulate the value of a customized Amex value proposition to meet customer needs
  • Ability to use insight and deep understanding of prospects to challenge the status quo
  • Highly developed commercial acumen and numeracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to maintain rigour at every step of the process
  • Ability to effectively manage a pipeline
  • Have a solution-focused, ‘can-do’ approach and attitude plus the ability to manage different projects simultaneously
  • Strong relationship/networking and communication skills
  • Experience operating in English
  • Must be mobile and able to travel when required, mostly in national territory
