International Currency Cards (ICC) are the issuer of proprietary US Dollar, Euro and Sterling currency charge cards (SBS, Green, Gold, and Platinum & Centurion).

ICC’s primary distribution channels are private and international banks, with a focus on premium products meeting the unique needs of high and ultra-high net worth clients. ICC has distribution partnerships with over 90 banks across EMEA including major global banks such as HSBC, UBS, Credit Suisse and Citibank.


This position is responsible for the management and development of a portfolio of global banking partnerships, as well as the development of new opportunities, in order to meet aggressive ICC growth targets. Achieving these targets relies on establishing and building successful relationships with extremely demanding bank partners and card members.


The incumbent must be self-motivated with the maturity and gravitas to represent American Express to our bank partners and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience in both a B2B and B2C context.


The role will be a key resource in deepening relationships with existing bank partners and developing expansion opportunities in order to achieve aggressive CIF, NCA and Billed Business targets through existing and new bank partnerships.


There is a requirement to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders at senior levels, as well demonstrating as a thorough understanding of the wealth management sector. Work with the Business Development team and ICC Marketing team to develop and implement acquisition and loyalty plans in order to fully engage bank relationships.


As a tenured financial services sales and business development manager you will primarily be responsible for driving profitable growth from a significant banking portfolio. To fulfil this role your experience in the private banking sector will definitely be an add-on. You will have responsibility for Business Development Executive’s and report to the Director of the ICC Business Development in UK.
