The Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMNS Marketing is responsible for partnering with GMNS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate merchant acceptance and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
This Sr. Manager will lead an innovative marketing and consulting team of 3 colleagues with the main objetive of driving spend and enhancing merchant value through high impact B2C initiatives such as Plan N. This position will report directly into the Director, LAC Merchant Marketing, and will work closely with the GMS and PCS teams in Mexico.
The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Manager are as follows:
Plan N: Create and implement data-led strategies to deliver Plan N targets and maximize net income. Effectively communicate, gain support and execute on strategic initiatives that require involvement from multiple merchants and stakeholders – across both the issuer and acquirer businesses.
The Plan N strategy consists of two main pilars:
- Top Accounts: Leverage insights and analytics to identify differentiated marketing strategies that attract customers and improve conversion rates and deliver Plan N goals across the portfolio.
- Multi- Merchant Platforms: Manage the marketing and communication plan for different multi-merchant campaigns based on industry performance and seasonality.
Top Signings & Aggregators: Develop and manage campaign strategies to significantly increase spend, perception and satisfaction with merchant coverage through relevant newly acquired Merchants and aggregators.

•Bachelor's Degree required and MBA as nice to have.
