Job Description

  • Resolve queries from Frontline over phone and email
  • Resolve queries from Frontline over phone and email
  • Assist with itinerary planning and best fare option
  • Offer better fare alternatives on booked itineraries where the consultant has already selected a fare.
  • Clarify fare rules in detail.
  • Advise key conditions/procedures, e.g. booking classes, TTLs, routings of any recommended new fares.
  • WFRF, RTW and reissues.
  • Manual fare building and calculation.
  • Reassess fares for rerouting/cancellations.
  • Provide detailed fares coaching during calls
  • Link with Centralised Ticketing Team
  • Update various Fares & Ticketing related documents and guides - Commission spreadsheets, Ticketing guides, etc.

  • Thorough knowledge of Sabre
  • Extensive knowledge of Fare rules from various Airlines, including but not limited to policies, reissues, EMDs
  • Sound knowledge of RTW, Circle Trip fares and air passes.
  • Ability to manually reassess fares when automated tool WFRF not present
  • Fares and Ticketing 1 and 2 highly regarded
  • Previous experience with Fares and Ticketing desk highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously yet be a Team player
