Job Description

In the Credit Insurance JAPA pilot project our Analysts are responsible for portfolio credit management of Credit Insurance clients and claims management in JAPA in close collaboration with GCP business, GCP Risk, Strategy, GSN, insurance partners and other key stakeholders. 

 

You will be responsible to;

 

  • Analyze client portfolios and organize the dunning process with local Credit teams to minimize portfolio losses
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims
  • Build relationship with Insurance partners to be able to deliver excellent results for American Express
  • Organize limit updates as agreed with insurance partners and stakeholders
  • Process and communicate decisions to JAPA credit teams
  • Recommend cancellation or suspension of spending privileges where required for card members and client programs
  • Make profitable spend decisions based on risk assessment and card member profiles
  • Handle some incoming and outgoing calls for credit related matters

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a credit related role
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building, presentation and communication skills
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to proactively seek out information
  • Have an exceptional eye for details
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a very positive engaging approach
  • A hands-on person. In this pilot project you will experience constant challenges and need to think ahead to find opportunities for improvements, ability to demonstrate alternate thinking
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal & written), other Chinese language is a plus.
