Job Description

EDA Global Commercial & Merchant Analytics team is the analytical engine for Global Commercial Payments and Merchant business - leveraging big data/machine learning techniques to elevate value delivered to Customers. One of key priorities supported by this team is supporting the growth of Commercial Payments.
In this role the Manager/Sr. Manager will be responsible for measuring marketing treatments and provide business recommendation to drive revenue growth and improve cost base.
S (he) needs to deliver scientific and accurate measurement by exploring and applying the right analytical technique.
The Manager/ Senior Manager, will have to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – Marketing, Acquisition, Finance, Data Capabilities and Product Team to deliver customer insights and develop innovative strategies. S (he) will be the key thought partner for the Small Business Marketing in commercial ensuring the broader organization’s ability to achieve success both strategically and tactically.  In addition to these core responsibilities, the incumbent will lead special projects that drive the GCP Marketing strategy forward.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of striking the best balance between providing detailed analytical support, strategic thought leadership and managing relationships to influence strategies and business outcomes.


  • Master's Degree in quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Economics) or MBA with quantitative background with 3 + years’ work experience in Analytics is preferred
  • PhD is an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of data mining techniques is preferred
  • Good communication and persuasion skills with an ability to translate technical analysis into business insights and recommendations, conceptualize and sell ideas to internal and external partners
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partners across business units
  • Understanding of experimental test vs control and read statistical reports  
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven track of positively collaborating and influencing internal/external partners
  • Should be comfortable with flexible shift timings to support Globally located Partners
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal errors
  • Proven track record for making sound business decisions, setting direction and managing both short and long term goals to achieve high quality results.
  • Knowledge of reviewing company financials and commercial bureau data is preferred
  • Work experience in relevant Industry & Domain is a plus
  • Excellent programming skills and comfort with data manipulation tools is strongly preferred
  • Marketing Analytics is highly desired
