Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator, Member Get Member is responsible for supporting the wider team to drive new card acquisition and billings growth for the Member Get Member Program by supporting the management of key capability launches, day to day card acquisition activities and executing on a robust test and learn roadmap to drive conversion optimisation.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Member Get Member, the successful candidate will work on delivery of best in class capability and journey enhancements to ensure we provide a seamless and frictionless program that leverages card member advocacy and drives referrals. The successful applicant will partner alongside their leader with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance the performance of our card Acquisition.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced team, who is focused on building the future of the American Express Referral program, through innovating the platform, value propositions and increasing Card Member engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide support to successfully manage the Member Get Member journey across our various platforms as well as all bonusing and cross referral journey’s to drive optimal engagement and funnel conversion
  • Working across a variety of marketing capabilities for the Member Get Member channel to deliver innovative capability platforms and extensions to the current journey.
  • Delivery of marketing campaigns and offers, plus the implementation of technological projects to drive channel expansion and test and learn plans to increase growth of acquisition.
  • Implementation of offer changes and creative updates across channels and assets
  • Engaging with all required wider business teams to align on capability roll outs and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and product alignment
  • Implementation of offer changes and creative updates across channels and assets
  • Maintaining busy marketing calendar of offer changes for Member Get Member and managing internal control and compliance and partner feedback creative rounds.
  • Budget tracking for all campaigns and provide assistance to the Manager on campaign forecasting

Critical competencies:
  • Marketing / business tertiary qualifications with 1+ years experience in Marketing
  • Proficient at time management and campaign co-ordination
  • Solution-oriented individual with ability to develop solutions to complex issues
  • Strong communicator, able to influence and convince others to support strategies and tactics
  • Ability to drive results and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships with experience in influencing
  • Experience with looking at data and providing reporting and analysis
  • Budget management experience
  • Dynamic, positive and energetic attitude and work ethic
  • Must be a team player
  • Knowledge of American Express Cards, services and benefits, and/or understanding of the Financial Services Industry viewed favorably
