Job Description

FX International Payments (FXIP) is one of the growth engines in the American Express Foreign Exchange Services Business division. FXIP provides businesses and financial institutions with an International Payments solution that is tailored to the needs and requirements of our clients.
 
Our AEXP FXIP Corporate clients use a leading edge on-line system to send and receive foreign currency payments, book spot and forward contracts, and request international drafts. Experienced and expert relationship management adds value to the FXIP solution and to our members business needs.
 
This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales-oriented and experienced Foreign Exchange Relationship Manager to work very closely with the Sales Team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of the Early Engagement team you will be tasked to assist and support the Sales Team to manage their accounts from day one.
The role will also have the responsibility to develop strong relationships very quickly, and to make sure sales targets and retention metrics across the Sales portfolio are met.
  • Provide day to day assistance to clients both over the phone and via email focusing on quality of service
  • Analyse and review client information in order to offer the most appropriate FXIP product or products
  • Demonstrate endless initiative and creativity to solve client issues and requests.
  • Leverage existing and build new internal relationships across all teams to maximise client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Establish strong relationships with the Sales team, in order to provide the best client service experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Ability to provide exceptional standards of client relationship building, can work productively and are client focused
  • Experienced in providing superior relationship management
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional personal brand and professionalism – including disciplined time management
  • Looking to work closely with the client  acquisition team and the field sales team
Experience
  • At least two years experience as a Relationship Manager or Sales Executive within Financial Markets.
  • Proven experience of having high level conversations with directors and decision makers
  • Knowledge or experience at an operational banking level in international payments.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of global markets and backed by RG146 Qualifications.
  • Degree qualified in a business related discipline - Desired however not mandatory.
