Role Description
The Data Analyst is a vital member of the capabilities team driving thoughtful strategy, detailed planning and disciplined execution of initiatives, while delivering superior customer service and achieving business objectives. This role will support the data and analytics strategy, data management, data stewardship, and delivery of data capabilities within Global Supply Management.
  • Driving projects/initiatives to enhance data capabilities and reporting across GSM
  • Providing data support in the form of creating, maintaining, and delivering both standard and ad-hoc reports to support GSM’s Third Party Lifecycle (TLM) team
  • Serving as a gatekeeper for the quality of data flowing from GSM’s data sources to the enterprise big data platform
  • Collaborating closely with Technology teams and other stakeholders to create and execute on business requirements associated with GSM data
  • Addressing data and analytics needs across GSM - partnering with GSM sourcing, contracting teams, Procure to Pay operations team, and TLM team 
  • Participating in and helping to create an environment for new analytic/reporting ideas


  • Project management experience with proven ability to partner with business and technology partners for project delivery
  • Experience in data sourcing projects, which may include creating visualizations or operational dashboards, and experience working through data quality issues 
  • Strong data skills with knowledge of Big Data, SQL, SAS (or other programming languages, e.g. Python, R etc.),
  • Srategic thinking – ability to think big picture but not lose sight of the fine details
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Proven ability to build and leverage relationships across multiple cross functional partners
  • Ability to both take direction and to take initiative to proactively develop solutions, and work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly to groups and individuals
Education / Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
