Assistant Marketing Manager, Lending
 
Overview
The Proprietary Card Services (Prop CS) Marketing team is a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is focused on driving the best experiences and products for our Cardmembers. Lending continues to be an area of focus to drive lending and revenue growth for the business. The Assistant Marketing Manager, Lending Product will be a key member of the lending team and will assist with the launch of a lending product this year.
 
In this team, you will work closely with a group of partners that span local and central teams to deliver products and services that are relevant and exciting to our Cardmembers.  You will contribute to the development of product strategy, build alignment, create and manage project structure and flawlessly execute everything you own. You will focus on enhancing customer experience and redefining processes to make it easier for customers and internal partners. You will be a valued contributor to the team, focusing on product and internal partner management as well as execute seamless campaigns to ensure a best-in-class experience for our customers.

Job Qualifications
 
Project Management – champion an initiative and get it done

Relationship Management – Build a common vision between business stakeholders in order to drive portfolio/business strategy

Analytics into Strategy – Interpret internal and external data identify opportunities and recommend business strategy.

  • Translate external influences (regulatory, technology, economic & consumer trends) into opportunities or threats
  • Analyze size of opportunity for new products
  • Assess financials / business case for new product

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
  • Ability to manage multiple complex project simultaneously
  • Ability to organize other people and meet deadlines
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Selecting, reviewing, analyzing diverse data sets related to business performance (e.g. financial performance, business process optimization)
  • Interpretation of complex data in order to develop business cases
    • Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills
 
This will include:
  • Consumer financial services (Cards, Rewards) experience a plus
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proficient in Excel, Visio and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
 
Qualifications:
Bachelors University degree required
•     MBA or MA specializing in Marketing, Economics or Finance would be considered an asset
