This exciting and newly created B2B Enablement Analyst role for Global Commercial Services Canada will report to the Sr. Manager B2B Coverage and Enablement.  The successful candidate will execute against our new and existing clients’ Supplier Payments needs. The role will be located in Toronto at Amex Head Office, Victoria Park Ave and Sheppard Ave. The successful candidates will be at the centre of, and help realize our B2B growth strategy.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Support Sales and Account Development teams by managing the end to end execution of a GCS clients’ ‘Supplier Enablement’ strategy
    • Submit AP Files through a supplier match system; and ensure data accuracy 
    • Submit leads through the tele-verification process to validate acceptance
    • Contact merchants on behalf of GCS clients to support enablement of acceptance
    • Submit leads through the Loop referral system and provide relevant details to GMNS
    • Track and communicate status to key stakeholders on the progress of leads, on a regular basis in a easy to digest format
    • Communicate newly signed merchants back to GCS to drive volume, and track & drive uptake
    • Report on the booked charge volume associated with all signings, and track to target scorecard
  • Gather requirements and interact with merchant services to validate B2B supplier leads
  • Build strong relationships with Sales and Account Development in both GCS and GMNS
  • Be the central point of contact on all supplier leads, following up to ensure all leads are actioned, providing missing information where required
  • Address endorsement requests and lead queries from AMEX Sales/Merchant Acquisition and client management in Canada and the US
  • Troubleshoot problems with data files, e.g. failures, errors in format, and communicate with stakeholders as required
  • Educate internal client business partners about merchant lead management and supplier identification
  • Prepare and review monthly reporting on Card, P-Card, and Buyer Initiated Payment leads aggregated spend trends
  • Provide support to Large Market and SME in uploading files through the Loop
  • Create demand reporting for newly signed or pipeline merchants to provide critical data insights, as well as information to run trigger and acquisition campaigns

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years in a business analyst role, client facing an asset
  • University/College graduate or equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience
  • Prior experience/knowledge in payment industry is an asset
  • Ability to work through multiple data sets to identify trends and analyze results
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), including presentation skills and the ability to produce progress reports for B2B Strategy Manager and internal stakeholders 
  • High levels of initiative, self motivation and effective time management
  • Strong analytical, financial and general business acumen
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and database skills
