The Global Partner Network is an organization within the Global Servicing Network.  Our team manages a complex, global network of 3rd party servicing partners who provide AXP with servicing flexibility and quality experiences for American Express card members and prospects. 


Global Partner Network is seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Analyst who will report to the Manager of Partner Compensation.  The role purpose of this role is to drive process improvement and will entail significant relationship management across the Global Partner Network team and with key business partners at all levels of the organization.  Critical to the role is intellectual curiosity, a proactive nature, attention to detail, comfort with data & financials, and strong work ethic. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Spearhead report automation projects which would capture operational metrics and key performance indicators
  • Provide insights on metrics and partner payment terms 
  • Report on operational efficiencies and vendor contractual terms
  • Support the Manager of Partner Compensation with day-to-day activities related to business updates and executive reporting
  • Identify and monitor progress against key priorities and initiatives
  • Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects to support efficiency, effectiveness, and growth objectives for the organization that contribute to GSN’s overall business results
  • Participate in other GSLN / GSN Governance & Control activities to support the overall success of the global GSN organization


  • Minimum of 2 years of reporting experience
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify and interpret trends to evaluate potential
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau required
  • Experience in call center management - systems, methods, reporting (Highly Preferred)
  • Understanding of general accounting principles and a strong financial acumen
  • Motivated self-starter with the proven ability to resolve complex problems and open-ended business challenges independently and work through ambiguity to prioritize work to meet all timelines
  • Strong thought leadership including capacity to quickly understand critical linkages and business requirements; define problem areas, communicate & achieve resolution.
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to gain alignment among key stakeholders with demonstrated experience in influencing without authority
  • Proven ability to maintain an organized approach to work with a strong focus on managing multiple projects / deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to remain composed while driving results in stressful situations and escalate when necessary
  • Knowledgeable / Experience in 3rd Party Management a plus.
