Job Description

The Director, Partner Management - Collections will be responsible for driving performance metrics across Global Collections network – more than 20 markets globally; 51 outside agencies; 4,000 collectors – that generates $1B+ in collections lowering write-off rates for American Express' credit / charge card portfolios.  
 
The Director, Partner Management will manage a team of 4-5 professionals across multiple locations to conduct data analyses to generate deep insights into agency operations that will form the backbone of optimal decisions -- to raise collections effectiveness and lower expenses.

Responsibilities include: 
  • Collaboration closely with the agency management teams for Call & Collect, legal collections, and Global Network Process teams to assess  implement actions. 
  • Leadership and oversight of a team of Partner Managers, to include setting overall strategy and direction for a particular line of AMEX servicing or group of third-party partners.

Skills and Experience
Proven ability to:
  • Manage a team of highly analytical professionals and be able to handle multiple priorities
  • Conduct deep data analyses to gain behavioral insights – customers and agency operations
  • Motivate a team of professionals to execute effectively and efficiently
  • Partner closely with peer teams and influence them to drive performance
  • Prior experience in conducting deep data analytics in an operational setting is a strong plus
  • Graduate degree in quantitative fields is a strong plus
