Job Description

 

This position is responsible for driving sales and growth of the Externa Sales agent´s channel and the external Telesales channel in Spain for Global merchant Services, looking after all internal and external aspects of the Business: commercial targets, legal & compliance, agency P&L control of external agencies, and quality. Will have a great component of partner management as well as financial objectives ( Locations In Force, Active Locations In Force, Business Charge Volume,) and quality metrics ( Activation, Perception Of Coverage, EMAIL captured) and will be required to frequently align and interact with other areas of the business (Finance, Marketing, Risk, Product, Global procurement & Compliance). This position will be part of the GMNS Acquisition Team, reporting to a band 35, channel owner of the Internal and external Acquisition

 

Channel Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the KPI´s metrics & sales objectives for the Channel´s
  • Must be able to drive sales & quality effectively acquisition, working closely with the relevant external vendors and other internal departments.
  • Make necessary adjustments to sales plan as a result of change in business goals or strategy.
  • Make sure quality controls are in place and working accurately
  • Ensure activation is on line with objectives
  • Control and Monitor Sales, daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Create Plans and Forecast according to plan
  • Manage and control expenses in line with Amex expectations and standards
  • Influence & partner with agencies and third party vendors involved to achieve Amex objectives
  • Monitor Agency P&L to help at margin gaps or look for merging improvements for Amex and/or the agency
