Program Management, Enterprise Integration Testing - Strategy

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader for the Enterprise Integration Testing (Arena) Program Management role who will be part of a newly formed product team whose mission is to enable continuous integration across our global platforms, driving unprecedented transformation in our enterprise velocity for delivering world-class software products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and leads the program roadmap for Arena adoption across multiple unit CIO teams, collaborating with engineering teams, utility teams, production support and the Arena Core team to remove roadblocks and craft strategies for speeding up the pace of adoption across the enterprise
  • Identifies and tracks key achievements and recommend adjustments to plans based on dependencies, priorities or roadblocks
  • Works with system/platform architects to understand and prioritize architectural features across platforms / products.
  • Ensures accurate reflection of project/program budgets, forecasts and actuals with related tools
  • Monitors and communicates the progress of the delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues
  • Negotiates and influences multi-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the execution of the plan
  • Anticipates program/project risks and issues and ensures that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery
  • Keeps continuous learning and continuous improvement in action every single day, in every interaction with all partners
  • Communicates with key partners with regard to program strategy direction and changes
  • Uses external and internal insight, industry and domain expertise, trend lines, good-practice and innovation to accelerate program efficacy and generate differentiated impact.

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications
You are expected to have:
  • 6+ years of experience in Project/Program Management and software testing with consistent track record in delivering large initiatives;
  • Experience in leading end-to-end testing initiatives;
  • Solid experience for leading complex global projects or programs with multiple challenging business needs translated into a cohesive roadmap;
  • Knowledge of Amex platforms from multiple tech stacks and their upstream/downstream interfaces are highly desirable
  • Previous knowledge and experience with integration testing at the enterprise scale and/or as a software engineer are considered a valuable asset;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, thought leadership, strategic, analytical thinking;
  • Courage to challenge the status quo and to welcome different points of views;
  • Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate well with technical and non-technical partners;
  • Mindset to put enterprise thinking first;
  • Customer focus – does what is right for the customer;
  • Demonstrated experience for enterprise collaboration and exerting influence with peers and executive levels;
  • Disciplined approach to program management from envisioning through to execution and metrics;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
