American Express Travel Related Services seeks Lead Developers to maintain, analyze, design, develop, and implement business rules strategy. Observe, evaluate, and detect logic errors during program testing, replacing and modifying solutions to correct errors. Prepare appropriate documentation to illustrate sequence of steps or rules for the system to follow. Design activities and operations involved in the business rules according to user requirements. Convert project specifications into business rules, and enter program codes into the software applications to run and test business rules.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, implementation, and testing of process based-solutions. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with design, development, and implementation of business rules; 1 year of experience with performing PEGA Rules Developer functions; 1 year of experience working with PEGA Rules Optimization and Decision System (ROADS); 1 year of experience with proving solutions and outcomes based on decision rules written in PEGA; and 1 year of experience with Agile methodology, Customer Process Manager (CPM), PEGA framework, Scrum methodology, and Smart Dispute. PEGA Certified Senior System Architect Certification is required.
