  2. Expanding our Travel & Entertainment leadership to become the B2B payments leader for global & large clients.
The Commercial Acquisition Group (C.A.G.) sits within the U.S. SME Tele organization and focuses on acquiring new Small Business & Middle Market customers on a suite of Card products while providing an outstanding customer experience.
The C.A.G. Marketing Team continuously advances its mission to deliver a best in class B2B marketing and sales experience to convert GCS’s most valuable prospects through our high-touch telesales channel. The team is strategically focused on creating a prospect-centric B2B acquisition experience and driving performance while maximizing efficiency and overall profitability.
The Senior Analyst will work with the channel manager as a centralized hub between cross-functional partners that support the C.A.G. organization (i.e. Product, Tech, Finance, Data Strategy & Insights, Risk, Lead Gen Marketing, External Partners, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to launch new enterprise and strategic initiatives. This position requires the ability to learn internal American Express systems/processes, collaborate across teams, influence across all levels of leadership and successfully manage many projects and deadlines at an incredibly fast pace.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Channel level and sub-channel level reporting for the internal C.A.G. Marketing team
  • Engage and influence all relevant cross-functional partners to gain buy-in and approvals necessary to launch strategic initiatives including – Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, etc.
  • Launch new “big-bet” lead-generation & lead-share initiatives between Vendor and Proprietary tele-sales teams as well as Tele and Face to Face Sales teams
  • Work cross-functionally with Tech and NICE Nexidia systems expert to develop strategic roadmap for Sales Enablement platform, using A.I. & Machine Learning to conduct Metadata & customer sentiment analysis.


Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 – 3 years of work experience, with an interest in marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing preferred (or equivalent)
  • Extremely detail oriented, yet able to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in reporting, analytics & strategic insights
  • Experience in project management with the ability to juggle many deadlines & work streams preferred
  • Collaborative self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset; excited and passionate about creating a great sales experience
