  • Improve efficiency, reliability and scalability of our data pipelines.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with Engineers across organizations.
  • Build CICD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Ability to work closely with technical architects and architecture governance technical team for solution development and design reviews.
  • Functions as a senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices – tools and common components
  • Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
  • Build new micro-services that help manages our rapidly growing Payments Services Hub.



Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
  • 6+ years of software development experience in: Java (minimum Java 7, Java 8 preferable)
  • Strong Knowledge and hands on experience of Enterprise JAVA/J2EE Technologies using Core Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with REST, XML, Microservices architecture on enterprise platforms
  • Good understanding of writing unit test cases using jUnit
  • Working experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
  • Experience with automated release management using Maven, Git, Jenkins
  • Good Understanding with SQL and NOSQL databases (Couchbase, Elastic Search databases preferred)
  • In addition, experience in: Realtime messaging brokers such as Kafka is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced Git usage (project maintainer level). Ability to solve complex merges and code integrations is a plus.
Following experience would also be desirable
  • Desirable to have cloud experience, especially Docker, Unix and service discovery tools.
  • Desirable to have experience with performance and monitoring tools e.g. Splunk and App Dynamics.
  • Desirable to have Application server deployment and configuration experience in JBoss, and SpringBoot.
  • Knowledge of automated build / continuous delivery, experience of Maven, Jenkins and other JVM languages, Vert.x, Reactive Programming  a plus.
  • Current knowledge of payments industry is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Blockchain is desirable
