American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payments for corporations of all sizes globally. The Commercial Acquisition Group, a key part of GCS, is the leading payment card issuer for small businesses in the United States, supporting business owners with products and services to help them run and grow their companies. The U.S. Client Group (USCG) organization leads account development for all Middle Market GCS card members, providing phone-based client management to our highest potential Middle Market card members.

 

We are looking for a talented Operations Analyst who will work closely with Marketing, Enterprise Digital & Analytics (ED&A), Data Strategy & Insights (DS&I), and USCG Leadership to manage the end to end operations of the lead generation process, which will ensure timely and consistent delivery. The lead generation process is based on applying a list of factors that are applied to our existing portfolio of clients with specific criteria that generates a list of clients to call.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner Management Execution
    • Communicating deadlines to partner teams
    • Collecting files and ensuring they are in the correct format
  • Collection of Requirements
    • Tracks and consolidates all monthly trigger requirements, including segment and partner files
    • Ensures requirements get delivered on time
    • Provides requirements to EDA
  • Quality Control Validations
    • Perform reconciliation of triggers against segment requirements
    • Produce summary for approval by consulted group
    • Facilitate calls for go/no go
  • Upload to Salesforce.com
    • Consolidate files
    • Perform data mapping and ownership changes
    • Creates upload templates
    • Upload triggers
  • Issue Management
    • Act as point of contact for any trigger related issues from the field
    • Diagnose issue and manage issue log
    • Facilitate triage and resolution of issues
    • Manage contingency trigger file
    • Ongoing process measurement and improvement

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience e.g. Project Executive / Business Analyst
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Keen eye for attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter who can operate autonomously and is resilient in a dynamic environment

Additional qualifications desired but not mandatory:

  • Any previous experience working with SFDC and/or Demand Tool
  • Any previous experience with SAS Analytical Software Solutions
  • Any previous experience such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle, Db2, or Access
  • Any previous experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile
