Job Description

 

The GCS US Large Market Client Group manages strategic corporate payment relationships with clients, including many multi-national organizations and acquires new corporate payments customers with annual sales of $300M+. The Large Market Business Client Specialist will report to the VP of Large Market East. This dynamic position is an integral part of the team and interacts with team members and business partners across a wide variety of initiatives.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute custom research projects based on active LM needs or pain points.
  • Determine strategic project focus/prioritization based on leadership needs with input from VPs and VP/GM
  • Develop briefs based on input
  • Establish project objectives and desired outcomes
  • Conduct thorough research, analysis, and synthesis
  • Coordinate iterative prototype review / testing, including vetting with internal and external teams and clients
  • Align on metrics to measure success
  • Delivery and presentation of findings and prototype (if applicable) to leadership team
  • Recommend innovative solutions with a specific focus on process enhancements to optimize programs, reduce costs and drive efficiencies for clients
 
Special Event Management
  • Point person for liaising with marketing on special events to determine best audience for given event
  • Ensure events and allocation direction is on-target & field-ready before being communicated or actioned
  • Periodically suggest event topics based on needs of portfolio
  • Use event feedback (client and internal) to inform future event strategy + best practices
 
Communication Content & Strategy
  • Prepare internal and external presentations and communications including materials for business reviews, senior leader meetings and linkages with business partners
  • Work with field teams and proposal strategy teams to update client-facing materials (e.g. RFPs, best and final, business partner review etc.)
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for our region to effectively reach the field/ stakeholders and extract the most value out of general communications, outward facing presentations etc.
  • Streamline and build on East region leadership ‘voice’

Qualifications

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically around PowerPoint document creation
  • Highly motivated self-starter who learns quickly
  • Strategic and analytical skills with ability to leveraging data into insights driven presentations
  • Ability to influence without authority within and across business/functions
  • Demonstrated project management, organization and planning skills
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving, overcoming obstacles and decision making
  • Strong follow up skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with an intense will-to-win and demonstrated personal excellence
