In this opportunity the company is looking for a Payment Consultant Manager for Puerto Rico & Caribbean region.
 
The position will be based in Miami or Puerto RIco, based in Buenos Aires. The role will be responsible for building new and managing existing processing relationships with acquirer banks, third party processors (including reciprocal fee price negotiations and managing service level agreements), providing consultative sales support to new and existing merchants and the Merchant Acquisition and Client Management teams, to ensure prompt implementations, product placement solutions and merchant processing, and re-engineering cost savings. In addition, the incumbent will manage relationships with external software/e-commerce suppliers that provide relevant authorization, submission or reconciliation related products and services. Attend team meetings/calls with relevant Partners, Client Management and Acquisition colleagues
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Provide Consultative Sales Support to direct, indirect merchants and Global Merchant & Network Services sales channels
  • Management of Acquiring Banks and Third Party Processors
  • Management of External Vendors
  • Critical Challenges
  • Identifying right processing partners for processing solutions and implementing most appropriate product and services based on customer interaction
  • Effective negotiating cost-effective reciprocal fee contracts and robust service level agreements with market acquirers and processors
  • Effectively identifying, evaluating and managing relationships with key external software vendors and e-commerce suppliers

Qualifications

 
  • Previous experience developing and/or managing service level agreements
  • Ability to drive change
  • Understanding of American Express Authorization and Submission Processes
  • Solid Communication and Interpersonal Understanding Skills
  • Proven ability to develop winning strategies
  • Strong relationship leadership skills, the ability to establish, develop and leverage relationships across the industry
  • Robust project / program management skills and the ability and track record of driving results on multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Strong consultative sales, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • The ability to articulate complex issues in a simple non technical manner
  • Flexibility to work across time zones
  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish
