Job Description

Prospect Acquisition is one of the largest investments in Amex Global Consumer Service Group (GCSG) and as part of the Global Performance Marketing team you will be responsible for supporting the development of our marketing programs to drive acquisition growth. The role will focus on biddable digital channels and be responsible for managing sophisticated multi-market programs.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Ownership of multi-market prospect and customer facing campaigns on biddable media including, but not limited to, PPC and Retargeting in Social and Programmatic Display
  • Implement audience-based approach to drive acquisition performance 
  • Develop robust testing program, to contribute to global learnings and incrementally grow the channels 
  • Partnership with Analytics counterparts to understand, and make best use of, Amex internal data sources 
  • Partnership with Product and CXO teams to ensure a biddable digital channel program considers the entire prospect journey, and is optimized accordingly 
  • Present strategies and plans to senior stakeholders in markets and other central teams 
  • Monitor internal and external digital trends and technologies to continually improve the program and maintain competitive advantage

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years’ experience in digital acquisition, specifically in the PPC or Programmatic specialism 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo/Bing and/or programmatic display campaigns in Doubleclick Bid Manager 
  • Personal accountability and driving results – delivering the numbers ‘month on month’ is second nature 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presenting to senior management 
  • Experience working with global markets 
  • Experience of managing large budgets in a target driven environment 
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills 
  • A self-starter who owns their business, is able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of programmatic/native advertising and conversion rate optimization 
  • Google AdWords and/or DBM certified 
  • Asian language skills desirable – Japanese or Mandarin or Cantonese, in addition to English
