Job Description

  • Execute holistic assessments against a standardized and robust assurance management framework for GPSS, evaluating a program or process to reduce gaming, improve compliance and meet critical business execution objectives through flawless integration process
  • Support process changes through strong collaboration with internal business partners and our contracted third-party partners to drive seamless daily operations
  • Deliver relevant insights while driving and acting as a champion for innovation that enhances the customer experience and delivers business value
  • Serving as the primary oversight & assurance contact across our network with our Process Owners, Central Infrastructure Organization and service partners
  • Maintain control and operational competencies through ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications

  1.  Demonstrated experience in operations management and/or vendor management
  2. Knowledge of 1.) Financial Services industry and profitability drivers, 2.) American Express customer service philosophy and ethos and 3.) telemarketing or call center operations
  3. Solution oriented profile working under volatile, complex and uncertain environments to develop and drive innovation and automation
  4. Proven ability to take complex technical information and evaluate it against policy, program, enterprise, and industry standards and translate it into clearly defined communication and/or action plans for a variety of audiences
  5. Strong influencing and collaboration skills, strategic planning and relationship development with the ability to inspire, gain support, resolve conflict and work in a matrixed organization
  6. Proven ability to lead, inspire and influence a cross functional team to drive results
  7. A strong Executive Presence and the ability to effectively communicate at  various levels
  8. Prior experience managing third parties or familiarity with GPN managed processes, preferred but not required
  9. Location: Partner Adjacent preferred
  10. Business travel is an important part of this role. Expect to travel 10% of the time.
