GCS Operational Excellence aims to ensure that GCS has a robust first line of defense, playing an active role in supporting the GCS business meet its business objectives and demonstrating an effective control framework.
This position will be responsible for actively supporting the GCS business across Japan in delivering on their business objectives, and in ensuring the business is executing effectively against local and central control and compliance expectations.
The responsibilities of the incumbent will include supporting the different Operational Excellence programs such as :Process Risk Self-Assessment - Support the PRSA methodology , faciliate annual risk assessment questionnaire, documentation of risks, controls and testing.
• Business Self Testing - Supporting Regulatory business self testing and call monitoring for sales applications
• Issue Management - Act as on-ground support for the Issue Management team and support any Japan Operational Risk Events/Corrective Action Plans.
• Training & Awareness - Drive Operational Excellence, control and compliance principles and standards across the market.

• Experience in business process improvement, control design and development of control & process testing.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage control and compliance frameworks.      
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work across a wide range of teams and build effective working relationships.
