The Intelligent Automation and Messaging team within Amex Digital Labs is hiring a Product Manager to lead the definition and coordination of the Enterprise Platform Strategy, working towards the development of an enterprise-grade platform that can be leveraged by all markets and business groups.


Primary responsibilities

  • Define the POA platform strategy for Conversational AI & Messaging

  • Manage the backlog for services and integrations shared across the platform

  • Coordinate the sequencing of in-flight development and new initiatives

  • Drive competitive intelligence and industry research for the team

  • Provide business architecture and shared service coordination input to PI planning sessions & roundtables with key business stakeholders and SMEs

  • Partner with internal teams and markets to identify collaboration opportunities and future Enterprise platform needs

Qualifications


We are seeking a Product Manager with a passion for customer experience in Messaging and Conversational AI, the demonstrated ability to drive digital product development, and the strategic thinking skills needed to coordinate and influence the platform roadmap across multiple teams.


Key qualifications are:

  • Working knowledge of the Conversational AI & Messaging space, including familiarity with Natural Language Processing techniques, Content and Dialog Management, Message Orchestration and Routing

  • High level of comfort working with Technology teams, and a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and development terminology (e.g. APIs, SOR, Java, Python, Microservices etc.)

  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
