Job Description

Function Description:
This position supports the India business team and will be responsible for managing E2E Reporting/analytics and execution for all lines of businesses within India Business. The selected candidate will work closely with Sales leaders, Finance, COE, Product Management Team,Marketing Team, Merchant Services Team and Risk teams to develop best in class reporting and ensure the optimal execution of the reporting and Analytics structure with high controls and accuracy. He/ She will cater to internal stakeholder queries and providing them consultation on how to use and interpret the various variables/metrics available to them and driving adhoc analysis and recurring/adhoc reporting as needed.
Purpose of the Role:
• Business planning, Reporting and analytical dashboards for monthly tracking
• Business insights and analytics
• Compliance with relevant policies
• Reporting and analyzing key metrics like acquisitions, activation, billings etc
• Provide Interactive / Informational Dashboard & Reports for business on weekly and monthly basis and adhoc basis
• Driving strategic initiatives through data analytics
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain data and reporting capabilities
• Take ownership of accuracy of information provided as it forms a key input to senior management decision-making
• Manage own work flow for assigned functions and become a subject matter expert in the areas supported
• Ensure that processes that are created and implemented have strong value proposition for the business and long lasting usefulness
• Drive effective quality checks and proactively identify any issues.
• Provide quality solutions and alternatives that meet internal stakeholder requirements and project deliverables
• Supports the analysis of business requirements by utilizing knowledge of one or more business areas and platforms/applications for the portfolio supported
• Proactively communicate and manage risk for assigned tasks.
• Must be a self-starter and drive key processes, while working well in a team environment as a key contributor
• Continuously explore the possibilities for process improvements and creating efficiencies with usage of new tools and technologies
• This role may be subject to additional background verification checks

Qualifications

Past Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, MS Excel (Macros, Pivots), SQL.
• Experience on Big Data, HIVE and Python will be a definite advantage
• Must be open to learning new tools and technologies
• Ability to understand data, research and fix issues
• Be hands on with working on large datasets
• Understanding of database concepts like table structures, data relationships, and data coding
Academic Background:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field .
• The incumbent must possess strong business acumen and have a high level of professional maturity to respond quickly to all issues/queries.
• Experience in reporting/analytics
Functional Skills/Capabilities:
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, MS Excel (Macros, Pivots), SQL.
• Comfortable operating and contributing to a team oriented environment with strong personal accountability, commitment and integrity with respect to all aspects of the role
• Conceptual thinking skills and ability to identify and implement technical solutions to achieve process automation and improve group’s productivity
• Maintain expected productivity/utilization goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management & team skills
Technical Skills/Capabilities:
• programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, MS Excel (Macros, Pivots), Power point, SQL
• Programming experience in any other language/s will be a definite advantage
Knowledge of Platforms:
• Strong MIS/ reporting and financial operations background
• Programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, MS Excel (Macros, Pivots), SQL
