Acquisitions & Portfolio Insights (API) team within the Enterprise Digital & Analytics (EDA) organization is responsible for creating and maintaining data repositories and reporting solutions which enable our partners across the US and International markets to drive effective business strategies, make fact based decisions and track business outcomes. This position will focus on maintaining existing capabilities, driving continuous innovation, creating new capabilities as per business needs, catering to partner queries and providing them consultation on how to use and interpret the various variables/metrics available to them and driving adhoc analysis as needed.
This is a very exciting role for Systems Analyst/Assistant Manager position which will focus on migration of existing capabilities and data repositories to Big Data platform which accelerate the efficiency by developing tools & reports across all functions of Customer Portfolio. In addition to this, this individual will provide consultation to business colleagues on how to use and interpret the various variables/metrics available to them and driving adhoc analysis as needed.
Role Name: Business Reporting – Portfolio and Acquisition Capability and Reporting
Purpose: Build foundational data capabilities to support Portfolio and Acquisition reporting
Critical Factors to Success:
• Design, build and disseminate portfolio data to create innovative business reports that demonstrate various performance metrics
• Support senior management decision making, investment decisions and other processes through timely, accurate and consistent delivery for tools
Minimum 1-4 years of hands-on technical experience and minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field
Bachelor's degree/ Post Graduate in Engineering or Computer Science
SAS, Hive, SQL, Python, Advance Excel (Pivot/VBA)
Knowledge of Platforms:
Knowledge of Internal Amex Platform i.e Globstar/Triumph/Cornerstone will be good to have
