Manager, Strategic Initiatives
 
The Strategy & Process Improvement (S&PI) team is responsible for executing transformational projects for Controllership and Finance. The team is responsible for the identification, planning, and delivery of strategic initiatives that support business growth activities and enable the organization to achieve its objectives. Additionally, the team provides support to the Controllership Leadership team on developing the strategy for the organization.
 
The role will be primarily focused on ideating, developing, and executing high impact strategic initiatives for the Controllership organization. Based on business needs, there may also be a small project management component. The role will have significant exposure to leadership and stakeholders across the organization.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of high priority business strategies and projects for Controllership initiatives
  • Provide strategic thought leadership, translating innovative ideas into well-defined executable strategies and solutions
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations on a wide range of topics
  • Analyze benchmark industry information and external/ internal research to build strategic frameworks and evaluate key business priorities
  • Communicate insights in a compelling manner to influence senior leaders in the company
  • Execute on initiatives by managing key projects, communicating progress, escalating road blocks, and providing clear and timely communication to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of work experience in Strategy or related field
  • Big 4 and/or consulting experience preferred
  • Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle sensitive projects and maintain complete confidentiality
  • Must be able to provide strategic thought leadership on wide range of topics
  • Must have excellent deck writing (PowerPoint) and Excel skills
  • Detail oriented and adaptable with strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization
  • Project management experience preferred but not required
  • BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely related field.
