Job Description

The Manager Assistant will support the Vice President of the Commercial Businesses Compliance & Compliance Program.  This role provides the opportunity to be involved in the management of a global team and gain insight and participate in how strategic decisions are made at senior levels in the Company.  In addition, the Manager Assistant will be responsible for staffing and budgets, management of daily commitments, global meetings and development of presentations for leaders and partners.
Core Responsibilities:
Managing the Program Office for the Vice President – Commercial Business Compliance and Compliance Program: Support the VP in the management of daily commitments and deliverables, team activities, presentations, etc. 
Strategic Planning and Projects: Be a thought leader for a global and diverse team that is responsible for the Global Compliance Risk Management Program and oversight of Commercial Business Units such as GMNS, GCS and GBT.  Participate in planning, goal setting, and global team engagement and strategic initiatives that impact the team, partners and the department.
Talent Management: Manage new hire on-boarding, maintain team org charts, support the performance management processes, identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve our colleague engagement and satisfaction.

  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding judgment and flexibility, identifying and reacting to critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proven track record of delivering and managing projects in an organized and diligent manner.
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders
  • Self-starter and high level of accountability and able to solve ambiguous/ open ended challenges
  • Prior experience in Compliance, General Counsel, GMNS, or GCS is preferred
  • Exceptional MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
